I’ve read about all kinds of ways to advertise. And they all are promising. But, the truth is, There is only one way to advertise Successfully... So, what are the best ways to advertise?
Remember the one who advertises the most, makes the most money.
Think of advertising like going fishing:
1. You need good equipment (website, products to sell)
2. The best bait (ads, sales letter, advertising)
3. Know where the fish are biting (target the right prospects, every where)
4. Patience (relax and wait for a bite. Then reel them in)
The ABC’s of successful advertising:
A. Advertise
B. Business
C. Continuously
Advertising is the very heart beat of your business. No matter what business you’re in, doctor, lawyer, babysitter, painter, internet entrepreneur, etc. Why are some businesses so successful? Is it their products? Maybe, but I don’t think so.
The main reason is not their products, it’s their advertising.
I’m here to tell you. Advertising is the key to your success. Stop or slow down on your advertising and your business will soon die. I guarantee!
You have to be dedicated to advertising 90% of the time and the other 10% should be used to find other products to sell, or creating better ads or sales letters.
Have you ever stop to think about all the advertising around you every single day?
Pick up anything around you right now, and you will see the brand name or logo of the company on it.. Any thing from remote controls, magazines, toys, ink pens, pencils, clocks, etc. Hey, what about your vehicle you drive, see the advertisement, Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota, etc. Tires have Goodyear, Firestone, and so on. Coffee, tea, bread, milk, bottled water, etc.
What about driving down the highway? Billboards, store fronts, semi trucks (company names on side of them.) Ups, FedEx, Cex, Pam, J. B. Hunt, etc.. What about tv, radio, the internet... Lets face it advertising is powerful and the way to your success.
Now, I’m going to knock you for a loop.. Did any of these advertisements have a single prospect in mind? No, they flashed their message before everyone..Why, because like fishing you just don’t know which fish are hungry and which ones will bite at any given moment... So you always have to be prepared for a bite from the strangest places...
Which leads us to the reason I wrote this article.
What are the best places to advertise? Everywhere online, offline. Make up some flyers, index cards, business cards. And place them at laundry matts, bulletin boards at the super market. Stuff them in magazines while you wait at the doctors office, dentist office. Be creative.
Should you use free or paid advertising? Use both at all times. When you can’t afford to pay for any more ad postings, start placing free ads.
Hey, did you ever think about exit signs along the highway. Those signs are a sort of advertising. They are advertising the most popular exit. Which one is the most popular exit you ask? It’s the one you're looking for to get off the highway.
Now, I know this may sound off the wall, but I don’t think so. Even nature itself advertises. Yes, it’s true. Say you are driving down a road and see a beautiful sunset.. And you say I would like to have a picture of a sunset hanging on my wall and you go and buy a picture of a sunset...
What about pets nature gave us. Say you see a certain breed of cat, and you say I want a cat just like that one. What about dogs, You see a collie and you say man I would love to have a collie..
What about trees, You see a beautiful pecan tree and you go and buy one and have it planted in your back yard..
See what I’m trying to say here, advertising is every where.. You can’t escape it.. If you tried you would only run into another one.
So, you also should be advertising every where you can.
Hey, check your cell phone. What brand is it? You might be that companies sales person and not even know it. How? By word of mouth. Say someone says to you, Wow, I really like the look of your phone, it looks cool. What kind is it, and you tell them. And now that person goes out and buys a phone just like yours. See what happened. You advertised that companies brand of phone by word of mouth.. And that company just got free advertising...
See how important advertising is. It’s like a river flowing free.. Until someone builds a dam and stops its flow.. How can we stop our cash flowing in, from our business? By stop advertising (we just built a dam.) And our river will dry up...(cash flow.) I can say from experience. If you follow this advise I’m offering you here, you will in time become successful.. Just wait and see. Don’t be a quieter, be a doer.. Stay focused and advertise everywhere...
Now here is another example: Say you are going on a trip to see someone Or vacation. Make sure you take some flyers, index cards, and business cards along with you..
Leave them in all kinds of places. Leave one on the table at a restaurant with the tip... How about placing business cards in the envelopes when you pay your bills. Don’t just place 100 ads and say your done. You are never done placing ads. This is the life line of your business, your success depends upon it.
My moto is: The one who advertises the most, makes the most money.
When I can’t sleep. I get up and start placing ads. I look at it this way. If I get up only to watch TV, I’m spending money. But if I start placing ads I’m making money. I guess you can tell I’m so focused on advertising. I even carry a small recorder with me at all times. This way if I think of a new title for a sales letter or ad. I just record it and come back to it later and write the ad. This works great for those with busy schedules.
You have to be an aggressive advertiser to become successful at your business.
Tip for today: Start searching the web for new places to advertise. New ones pop up every day.
I even give my customers a free gift for just letting me know where they seen my ad...

This never made the newspaper, what a shame.

Navy Petty Officer Mike Monsoorï
PO2 (EOD2) (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Mike Monsoor, a Navy EOD Technician, was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously for jumping on a grenade in Iraq, giving his life to save his fellow Seals.
During Mike Monsoor's funeral in San Diego , as his coffin was being moved from the hearse to the grave site at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery, SEAL's were lined up on both sides of the pallbearers route forming a column of two's, with the coffin moving up the center. As Mike's coffin passed, each SEAL, having removed his gold Trident from his uniform, slapped it down embedding the Trident in the wooden coffin.

The slaps were audible from across the cemetery; by the time the coffin arrived grave side, it looked as though it had a gold inlay from all the Tridents pinned to it.
This was a fitting send-off for a warrior hero.
This should be front-page news instead of the crap we see every day.. Since the media won't make this news, I choose to make it news by forwarding it .
I am extremly proud of our military. If you are proud too, please pass this on. If not then rest assured that these fine men and women of our military will continue to serve and protect.

Twitter - (Tweeting with Excellence)
I have been asked by a few of my followers at twitter. How do I communicate properly with people on twitter?
So I put together this article to help answer this simple but powerful question.
How To communicate on twitter with excellence with your followers is simple once you know this simple technique called " Question & Answer Technique"
But first, I want to start off with the answer to the question communicating properly on twitter. Before I get to the "Question & Answer Technique."
To communicate properly on twitter is simple. Just talk to your followers like you would one of your friends face to face. Like "How was your day" or share the latest news that you heard. Just start talking and sharing your thoughts and ideas. Ask questions and answer questions that someone ask if you know the answer. It is that simple.
(How To Become A Person Of Interrest On Twitter)
Here is a TIP that has never been revealed before until now called: (The Question & Answer Tecnique) for Twitter.
This technique will add interest to your tweet messages. And make you a very interesting person to follow. And when get good at this technique your tweet messages will soon become the tweets of the day. Mark my words. This technique will be picked up very quickly and used by many tweeps.
Here is how "The Question & Answer Technique" works.
You will send out a tweet message saying something like this:
1. Your first message or tweet:
Did you know that (_____) can fly? The answer revealed in my next tweet.
You fill in the blank above.
2. Your second tweet or message:
Answer: Watch this video and see how (____) was able to fly.
See what I'm trying to say here?
You have to get people interested in your next message or tweet. That is the key to communicating using (The Question & Answer Technique)
I see too many people trying to do it all in one message. And when they do this their message scrolls down to the bottom of page and disappears. Now this person must now find something else to post. These short lived messages don't get people looking for your next tweet.
But if you used (The Question & Answer Technique) they would be waiting for your next tweet. Try it and see for yourself. Start getting in the habit of sending out a question, then next the answer message. Every once in a while.
This gets easier to do once you have done a few of them. And it's fun.
This makes your thread feed on twitter very interesting.
Here is a very important TIP: Using (The Question & Answer Technique)

8 Reasons Why People Do Not Continue To Follow You On Twitter
How to build an awesome group of followers on Twitter or any Social Media site. I will reveal 8 reasons why people world wide are having problems creating a productive line of followers. These 8 reasons could also be applied to the problems when using FaceBook, MySpace etc., just to name a few.
How To tweet with Excellence. This article should be used as a guide – not as the ultimate source of information.
Here are the 8 Reasons.
1.- You Think Of Yourself First
You only want to sell something to your followers. You only see them as dollar signs. I will share this with you from my 14 years experience in the Marketing field. Your selfish "Me First Attitude" will only leave you empty handed and a lot of wasted time that you spent trying to promote yourself.
Why?
Because no one wants or cares to know what you have to offer until you offer them a helping hand first. And believe me when I say this. If you are trying to get in their wallets first. You will only turn them off. I Guarantee! They are not stupid. Mark my words.
Example: Just take a few minutes and watch with an eagle eye at all the messages coming in from people who are sending you advertisements only.
They never stop long enough to send a message asking their followers "How was your day?" or "Good Morning."
So when building your successful on line community, get the "Me First" attitude out of your mind. Start thinking of "Them" first. Those who are and will become your followers.
Think like this when trying to build your friends list. How can I (You) help them first? What can you offer them? Valuable Advice, FREE Newsletter or Report. And believe me, if you build your community of followers on these principles and ideas and with a little patience.
They will in time become curious about you and check out your website or blog. And they will be glad to purchase your products or service. I see this happen all the time. The "Me First" attitude on line and off line daily.
2. - You Offer No Value To Your followers
What do you have to offer of true value to your followers? Can you answer this question without including a sales pitch? Most people can not.
Remember the only time success comes before work is in the dictionary. Any other time you must "Work Smart" to become successful.
In this life on earth, you only receive after you give. It is not the other way around. It goes something like this. If you want a friend then be friendly. If you want to be loved then be loveable. This is why so many people fail in life and with their on line business. They want to receive first then they will give.
They offer no value to their friends and followers in their on line community. Even in their personal relationship with friends and family. They have the "Me First" attitude. And offer their sales pitch first. Always trying to sell themselves, like look at me, I am good. How sad this is but it is true World wide.
3. - You are not bringing in the right people to your tweet site
You must let the right people know what you have to offer. They can't find you if you don't give them your address. And your on line address is the link to your website. Now remember you only want to give your address (link) to the people who are interested in the same things you are.
Note: I'm not talking about your personal friends here. You definitely want your friends to follow you on line. I am talking about your group of followers on Twitter.
Example One - Say you are going to have a get together with your friends to sell power tools to mechanics. So you invite a few Grandmas over from a "Knitting Club." Do you think that would go over very well? How many tools do you think you would sell?
Example Two - Say you are going to have a "Baby Shower" get together. And you invite a bunch of mechanics over. Do you really think that would turn out to be a success? Of course not.
I hope you are starting to get the picture of bad promotions or bad advertising here. But this happens on a daily basis. You must start this minute and start promoting your business to a "Targeted Market" of followers. If you do not, you are actually doing the two examples above.
4. - Not encouraging word of mouth advertising
Start encouraging your followers to share your information with their followers. If they find your information helpful.
5. - You think you are to smart to learn
You are a know it all. You think you have all the answers. I know people in my personal life who are this way right now. How arrogant this way of thinking is. We all need to become good listeners. To become a good teacher you must become a good listener.
I believe that everyone has something to offer, to bring to the table. So we all can feast together. We learn something from everyone that we meet in life.
How?
We learn not to do what they are sharing with us. Or we learn how to do something easier or better. Did you know that failure is a sort of success in itself? How? We learn not to do what we did, that caused the failure. So we grow forward.
6. - You do not care about those who are following you. You only want a huge number of followers.
Remember your followers are real people with real needs. Take the time to listen to their concerns and needs. Offer them great advice. Point them in the right direction. Your rewards will come later. Remember rewards follow you. You help others and others will help you.
I care about each and every one of my followers on Twitter.com. And I try my best to answer all questions that I receive from my followers. And I try to say Good Morning or How Was Your Day? And I always try my best to Thank them when they offer great advice to me and our community of followers.
Yes, you are in charge of keeping your community focused, clean and a fun place to hang out at.
I'm always reaching back to my followers with a helping hand. If I don't reach out to them with a helping hand, I feel like I am letting them down.
Why?
Because they took a few minutes out of their very busy life and chose to follow me. I really enjoy my happy group of tweeter friends. We are one big happy community. And that is what Social Media is all about. Friends helping friends and having a good time together. Right?
7. - You think You are to popular to care about who is following you
You are just trying to get a lot of followers. You are a legend in your own mind. You think you are to important to send a message and say Good Morning or How Was Your day? This is happening in all Social Media sites on line today. Your followers want to hear from you or they would not have followed you.
These people are so popular and have a million followers. But they never send a simple message to their followers just to say Hi. This makes me sick to my stomach and very sad to see this.
There is also another problem I see followers doing when following these Popular Gurus. What is it? Tons of people web wide start following these Gurus. They are thinking if they start following these Giants it will add value to their site. Wrong!
To many of these popular gurus will not communicate with you. You are only adding their name to your site. No value. Value in the Social Media scene comes from communicating with each other. And remember the new rule set by Twitter. You can only follow 2000 people. So why waste precious space following someone who never intends to communicate with you and your followers? Not me!
Now don't get me wrong here. I do follow a few huge gurus that do not follow me. Why? Because I learn from them. They are my teachers. What I am trying to say here is choose the ones you follow carefully.
Your group of followers and those you follow should be a support group helping each other grow forward. Not some name on a wall in cyber space somewhere that will never respond.
8. - You have to many unfollowers on your list
(Following vs Followers)
Please, do not follow just anyone. Why? I read somewhere that if you follow more people then are following you, it makes you look like a bore to follow and boring tweet with. How?
Let me explain:
Example 1. - Say you are following 10,000 people. And you have only one person following you. Is that a person worth following? NO! Why? It could be a spammer (a machine that only sends out advertisements or some unpleasant messages.) We are not stupid we can see right through this veil.
Example 2. - Say you come across someone who has 100,000 followers but they are only following 3 people. Is that person worth following? Not really! Why?
Because they are to popular to communicate with you. They offer no value to you or your tweeter friends. Not unless they are one of your favorite gurus that can offer some great advice from the messages that is coming though their tweet streams. Now that would be of great value.
What about new followers? Well that is totally up to you. My rule of thumb about new followers is. Everyone had to start at one time. So I give my new followers about one month to follow me. And if they don't I unfollow them. Why? For two reasons.
1. - Because my twitter community is a live support team helping each other and communicating with each other. Some of my tweeter friends on my tweet site send us music to listen to while we tweet. And to me that is participating in our group.
2. - Also this will help keep my numbers balanced.
Ok now the big question? Who do you follow?
My rule of thumb here is. Before I decide to follow anyone. I look at their Number balance, do they offer a real location. Do they send tweets and participate on their site. Do they have vulgar or nasty tweet messages. If they do, I do not follow them. Why? Because one day my grand children maybe looking over my shoulders. That is the reason I want to run a clean site.

This is happening in all Social Media sites on line today. Your followers want to hear from you or they would not have followed you.
These people are so popular and have a million followers. But they never send a simple message to their followers just to say Hi. This makes me sick to my stomach and very sad to see this.
There is also another problem I see followers doing when following these Popular Gurus. What is it? Tons of people web wide start following these Gurus. They are thinking if they start following these Giants it will add value to their site. Wrong!
To many of these popular gurus will not communicate with you. You are only adding their name to your site. No value. Value in the Social Media scene comes from communicating with each other. And remember the new rule set by Twitter. You can only follow 2000 people. So why waste precious space following someone who never intends to communicate with you and your followers? Not me!
Now don't get me wrong here. I do follow a few huge gurus that do not follow me. Why? Because I learn from them. They are my teachers. What I am trying to say here is choose the ones you follow carefully.
Your group of followers and those you follow should be a support group helping each other grow forward. Not some name on a wall in cyber space somewhere that will never respond.
8. - You have to many unfollowers on your list

Please, do not follow just anyone. Why? I read somewhere that if you follow more people then are following you, it makes you look like a bore to follow and boring tweet with. How?
Let me explain:
Example 1. - Say you are following 10,000 people. And you have only one person following you. Is that a person worth following? NO! Why? It could be a spammer (a machine that only sends out advertisements or some unpleasant messages.) We are not stupid we can see right through this veil.
Example 2. - Say you come across someone who has 100,000 followers but they are only following 3 people. Is that person worth following? Not really! Why?
Because they are to popular to communicate with you. They offer no value to you or your tweeter friends. Not unless they are one of your favorite gurus that can offer some great advice from the messages that is coming though their tweet streams. Now that would be of great value.
What about new followers? Well that is totally up to you. My rule of thumb about new followers is. Everyone had to start at one time. So I give my new followers about one month to follow me. And if they don't I unfollow them. Why? For two reasons.
1. - Because my twitter community is a live support team helping each other and communicating with each other. Some of my tweeter friends on my tweet site send us music to listen to while we tweet. And to me that is participating in our group.
2. - Also this will help keep my numbers balanced.
Ok now the big question? Who do you follow?
My rule of thumb here is. Before I decide to follow anyone. I look at their Number balance, do they offer a real location. Do they send tweets and participate on their site. Do they have vulgar or nasty tweet messages. If they do, I do not follow them. Why? Because one day my grand children maybe looking over my shoulders. That is the reason I want to run a clean site.
